I feel that I wait all year for summer and it passes so quickly. One thing I promised myself this year was to focus on NOW – So last week, I scheduled two fun activities. If you are in Chicago, you certainly should check them out. HAPPY PLACE through 8/6 and Wild Women Of Planet Wongo through 7/28.
As a photographer, going to Happy Place with my son and fellow photog, Colin, was such a blast. A true playground of visual delights. I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard in a very long time. (See the ball pit photos for proof of that!)

My second event was truly out of this world. As many of you know, I love the theatre. Again, if you like to laugh and have fun with your friends, Wild Women Of Planet Wongo is the show to see. Playing now at the Chopin Theater only in Chicago until 7/28, it is the perfect Girls Night Out. I attended with eight friends and we had such a good time!
Enjoy a Wongotini cocktail as you wait for the show to begin – Be ready to join the fun by dancing and participating in the retro game shows. There is really nothing better than spending quality time with your friends. A weekend of laughter will surly cure any Monday blues you may be experiencing!
