“Good books, like good friends, are few and chosen; the more select, the more enjoyable.”

— Louisa May Alcott

Was one of your New Year’s goals to read more?

I find that in January, I make that goal a reality as the short days and cold temperatures make we want to stay in – There is only so much Netflix I can watch, so getting lost and inspired by books are just the ticket for me.

I love to laugh and Steve Martin has always been one of my favorites – This memoir served with heart and humor.

Tip: He reads the Audible version!

Never too old for a pep talk – Thanks, Lin for starting and ending my day on a good note!

Grace and style – I could not put this book down. I look forward to what you become next, Michelle!

Now on to self discovery and living a purpose driven life full of wonder – Thrive!

My friend and fellow #Omaginsider, Cara Meredith’s first novel! A beautiful story of race, faith, and social justice.
